My practice covers shipping, international trade and commodities related matters both contentious and non-contentious. I have many years experience of charter party matters (in, particular, time charter parties, contracts of affreightment and slot charter parties) covering the dry, tanker and container liner sectors; cargo claims (arising under bills of lading, voyage charter parties as well as time and slot charter parties); disputes arising from major casualties such as fires on container vessels and car carriers; commodities (in particular, oil trading); the offshore energy industry; international trade disputes and documentation (including letters of credit); shipbuilding and ship sale and purchase; and the container liner sector.

I have particular experience of international arbitration in the shipping, international trade, commodities and offshore industries.
